While we strive for perfection in packaging and shipping, we understand that sometimes returns or exchanges are necessary. Please review our policy below.
Our Return Policy
We accept returns within 15 days of receiving your order for most items. To be eligible for a return:
- Items must be unused, in their original packaging (like our carefully wrapped landscape supplies)
- Plants must show no signs of improper care (just as we’d protect our hardy ferns during transport)
- Proof of purchase is required
Special Considerations for Live Plants
Our TN Native Trees and pollinator-friendly shrubs are living things that require special handling. If your plants arrive damaged or unhealthy, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos at [email protected].
Non-Returnable Items
Certain items require special consideration, just like our rare & unusual trees need particular growing conditions:
- Seed Starting Supplies (opened packages cannot be resold)
- Personalized or Custom Items (like specialty topiary forms)
- Clearance Items (marked as final sale)
The Return Process
Follow these steps to return an item, as carefully as you’d transplant one of our perennials:
- Contact Us: Email [email protected] with your order number and reason for return within 15 days of delivery.
- Receive Authorization: We’ll respond within 2 business days with return instructions.
- Package Carefully: Repack items securely, using original packaging when possible (like we do with our irrigation supplies).

Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (like sending the wrong variety of Japanese Maple). We recommend using a trackable shipping service (DHL or FedEx) and purchasing shipping insurance.
Refund Information
Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll process your refund within 5 business days. Refunds will be issued to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal). Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund.

Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your landscape supplies arrived damaged or you received the wrong hardy fern variety, please contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos of the damaged/wrong items. We’ll arrange for replacement or refund without requiring you to ship items back.
